Confirmation 2012

Preparation for Confirmation is a year-long process in the 10th grade.  Reception of the Sacrament usually occurs in the Spring. Candidates will participate in weekend workshops, a retreat and community service work.  A recent copy of the candidate’s baptismal certificate is required.  Sponsors for Confirmation must be 16 years of age or older, Catholic, and have received the Sacrament of Confirmation.  If the sponsor does not belong to Holy Name of Mary, a letter is needed from their parish stating that he/she is an active and practicing Catholic.
