The choir's primary duty at
Mass is to lead the assembly in
song. It is not necessary to have
any previous musical training, although
singers should be able to carry a
tune. Instrumentalists who wish to
join the music ministry should have at
least high-school level proficiency and
need to audition. Cantors are also
selected by audition.
The choir rehearses every
Sunday at 9:30 AM in the choir
room. A seasonal youth choir and
instrumental ensemble performs at the
5:00 PM Christmas Eve Mass and the 10:45
Easter Sunday Mass.
